01 / YES, THERE’S ACTUAL TECH

The cat is a meme.
The bytes are real.

This is a playable preservation experiment built on Wolfenstein 3D Shareware. The engine and first-episode data are stored as contract bytecode on Robinhood Chain. Your browser downloads those bytes from the node, verifies them, and runs the game locally. The registry below identifies the game archive.

“They shredded the game. For once, it wasn’t me.”

Same original bytes.
A different kind of bite.

The original game data and the cat mod take separate paths. They meet only when the browser runs the game.

03 / BROWSER RUNTIME

Original game + separate replacements

When the engine requests an asset, the mod-enabled runtime can select its cat-edition replacement. The archived game data stays unchanged.

HOW IT LOADS

The loader verifies the archived payload before the separate skin is applied. The mod-enabled engine is supplied by the website; the archived engine remains part of the original on-chain payload.

“Original data” refers to the shareware game-data files, not an unchanged copy of the complete DOS distribution. The loader preserves the reconstructed WL1 files and loads replacement assets separately. This diagram describes the technical design, not a licensing permission.

DON’T TRUST THE CAT. CHECK THE BYTES.

You can verify
on-chain.

The proof is in the bytes. Read the registry, fetch the stored shards, and compare the reconstructed payload with its recorded Keccak-256 hash. You can run that check here without starting the game.

GAME DATA REGISTRY

One registry. Every shard.

READING NETWORK…

The registry points to every shard, in order, and records the payload hash. Its address identifies the archive your browser checks.

Not checked in this session.

Two different kinds of verification.

Data verification: compare bytes and hashes. This does not require the explorer to have the contract’s source code.

Contract source verification: publish the source and build settings so an explorer can match them to the deployed bytecode and show readable code. That is not a security audit.

Read the registry source ↗
What does a successful check prove?

It proves that the reconstructed payload matches the hash recorded by the selected registry, and that the loader’s seal and ownership checks passed. It does not prove who created the original game, establish licensing rights, or certify the contract’s security.

04 / DYOR, BUT WITH A CAT

Awkward
questions.
Actual answers.

Is this the full Wolfenstein 3D?

No. This build uses the .WL1 shareware data: the first episode. It does not include the other episodes from the full release.

Where can I find the game contract?

The game data registry lists the ordered shard contracts and the payload hash. Its address and connected chain ID are shown in the verification section.

Is every paw swipe a transaction?

No. Your browser runs the game after reconstructing it. Moving around requires no transactions, signatures or wallet.

Do I need a token to play?

No. Playing requires no wallet connection or token purchase. The game data registry shown here is the archive contract, not a token contract.

INSERT COIN? NO.
